We are more than a housing provider; we are a community dedicated to helping vulnerable adults rebuild their confidence, gain new skills, and reconnect with the world around them. Through compassionate support and professional care partnerships, we give each person the tools and encouragement they need to take the next step toward lasting independence.
Our Story
Wellcare Living Ltd was founded on a simple principle — that safe housing is a human right and a foundation for personal growth. From our beginnings in Sheffield, we’ve grown into a trusted name in supported living, known for our commitment to quality, empathy, and long-term empowerment.
Our main site, Edale Lodge, is a historic Grade II listed building located in the heart of South Yorkshire. The property, set within 0.7 acres of peaceful gardens, provides an environment that nurtures both wellbeing and independence. Every space within Edale Lodge — from its communal lounges to its private rooms — has been designed with comfort, dignity, and homeliness in mind.
Alongside our community-focused arm, Wellcare Housing CIC, we operate on a not-for-profit model, ensuring that every surplus is reinvested into improving facilities, expanding services, and enhancing the lives of our residents.
